Chicken with Goat-cheese sauce
Tasty main dish.
- Chicken breast, about 800g
- 2x 2dl food cream (18%)
- Goat cheese, to taste (say 150g)
- Grated cheese
- Feta cheese (little cubes are the best)
- Salt, pepper, meiram
- Shredded lettuce
In a pan heat the food cream until its about to boil. Cut the goat cheese into small pieces and add into the cream with salt and pepper. Stir until the goat cheese melts. Take from heat.
Season the chicken breast with pepper, add salt if you like your food salty. Put them in a glass dish you will cook it in the oven. You can also apply some grease like butter to the bottom and the sides.
Pour the goat cheese – cream sauce on top. Add the grated cheese and feta cheese also on top. Put into a pre-heated oven of 190-200 degress C (that’s Celcius! :)). Cook for about an hour.
You can serve it with different side dishes. Oven baked potatoes, sweet potatoes and carrots being a favourite of mine.
Add some shredded lettuce as well. Salt and add olive oil.
